FAA Proposes to Expand SMS Data Protection and CAA Comments
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes to extend data protections under Part 193 to SMS-related data, information and reports submitted voluntarily by any certificate holder. CAA responds with comments to the docket.
Pilots Records Database (PRD)
CAA strongly supports the establishment and maintenance of a Pilots Records Database and commented that an enhanced electronic system would improve safety by providing more complete information in the hiring process.
