WASHINGTON, July 3, 2025 — The Cargo Airline Association (CAA), the leading voice of the air cargo industry, applauds the authorization of $12.5 billion for the modernization of our nation’s air traffic control (ATC) system in the recently passed reconciliation bill.
“This funding marks a critical step toward a safer, more efficient air traffic control system that will support the growing demands of the air cargo industry and reinforce America’s leadership in the competitive global marketplace,” said CAA President Lauren Beyer. “Modernizing ATC infrastructure will strengthen the safety and resilience of our national airspace, improve reliability, and reduce delays.”
As implementation progresses, CAA and its members look forward to continued collaboration with lawmakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
