Washington, D.C. – Cargo Airline Association (CAA) President Lauren Beyer issued the following statement tonight after the U.S. House of Representatives voted to reopen the federal government:
“The Cargo Airline Association applauds the House for taking action to reopen the federal government. It’s time to get back to work to ensure the safest, most efficient airspace for all users.
“While reopening is an important first step, it will take time to fully restore the network, operations, and services. We are eager to see the airspace restored to normal levels and look forward to working with the Federal Aviation Administration to do so safely.
“We urge President Trump to sign the bill into law to help bring confidence, reliability, and stability back to the national airspace and supply chain as we enter the busy shipping season.”
